Mr. Kisner was first licensed in 1975 to practice law in California. He gained experience in Litigatiion, Business and Real Estate Law before turning his focus toward helping clients and their families with Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Probate matters. That was more than 30 years ago. He has worked with multiple generations of clients in many instances. Dan has a great reputation and his understanding of the law and his legal opinions are frequently sought after by fellow attorneys. Dan has also directly mentored a number of other attorneys over the years.

It is with great excitement that Feriante Law Firm LLP announces the acquisition of Kisner Law Firm. Kortnee D. Feriante is partnered with husband (and attorney) Adam Feriante at Feriante Law Firm LLP. Kortnee became "of counsel" at Kisner Law Firm in the spring of 2021 and has worked closely with Dan, learning his processes as well as his approach to all-things Estate Planning. Over the last three years, Dan and Kortnee spent many hours in discussion on client matters, Estate Planning in general and how best to meet the needs of Kisner Law Firm clients and Feriante clients now and in the future. As Dan's retiremnt grew near, Kortnee and Adam approached him about acquring Kisner Law Firm. Their hope was that the Feriante firm would provide legal services to Kisner clients, carrying on the work Dan started more than 30 years ago. A transition plan was devised and Kisner Law Firm was officially acquired by Feriante Law Firm LLP on July 31, 2024. Feriante Law Firm LLP is located just 3/4 mile away from where Dan had his office for the past three decades. Adam and Kortnee look forward to assisting the generations of former Kisner clients and client referals and wish Dan an incredible retirement. It is well deserved!
